I've realized I've talked a lot here and offered my advice and critiques. Here's my 1st offering to the community. I love the sun and how it plays around with light and shadow. The only thing I wanted to was to have the sun actually be more present in the picture, (ie be able to see more detail on it). Any ideas?

| First attempt at lightning |

This is my first attempt at a lightning shot. This was from last night when large storms rolled through my area. It was nearly 2 AM when the storm came in, I couldn't sleep, so I waited for lightning to show up. It's a bit fuzzy because I was shooting through my living room window (plus the ISO 400 isn't helping matters). I manually triggered the shutter (I haven't started building the light-sensitive shutter release yet, that will have to wait a bit for me to be less busy).
I'd be glad to know what you think.
